Terms of use for the SailrScience corporate website at sailr.science.

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the website at sailr.science (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. The publisher
The Site is published by SailrScience Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Research content surfaced on the Site is authored and operated by SailrScience, LLC, a separate Delaware limited liability company. Together the two entities operate the unified SailrScience public brand.
3. Use of content
Content on the Site — including text, diagrams, images, the canonical sailr.science wordmark, the Powered by sailr.science™ co-brand badge, and any downloadable artifacts — is the intellectual property of SailrScience, LLC or SailrScience Technologies, LLC as applicable. Personal, non-commercial reading and reasonable quotation with attribution are permitted; redistribution, mirroring, or commercial use of substantial portions requires written permission.
4. Trademarks
SailEdge™, FleetEdge™, the Powered by sailr.science™ badge, and the sailr.science wordmark are trademarks of SailrScience, LLC and SailrScience Technologies, LLC. Other product or company names referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners.
5. Patent
SailrScience holds a US provisional patent filing, USPTO docket 0325-0001PR, filed 2026-03-05. The public-facing disclosure on the Site summarizes the filing without releasing claim-language verbatim. The provisional filing is not a granted patent; it preserves filing-date precedence and informs the subsequent prosecution.
6. No professional advice
Content on the Site — including analytical commentary, research summaries, and product descriptions — is informational. It is not a substitute for engineering judgment, legal advice, financial advice, or any other professional advice. Engagement-grade outputs require the corresponding services or licensing arrangement.
7. Third-party links
The Site links to product properties (sailedge.sailr.science, fleetedge.sailr.science) operated by SailrScience Technologies, LLC and to partner sites (such as farrdesign.com) operated by partner organizations. SailrScience is not responsible for the content or availability of partner-operated sites.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

SailrScience may revise these Terms from time to time. Material revisions will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
